Nautical Affordable Housing is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing housing opportunities available to low income families and individuals by creating, acquiring, rehabilitating and preserving affordable housing units. Nautical Affordable Housing also is committed to promoting neighborhood stabilization and revitalization efforts by improving the quality and availability of housing alternatives for people with limited means. Founded in 2002, Nautical Affordable Housing has ensured affordable housing options for several families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Nautical Affordable Housing has worked with its partners The Itex Group to assist in the redevelopment of the Orange Navy Park Subdivision.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program

Nautical Affordable Housing, Inc is making an application for Neighborhood Stabilization Program 1 and 2 funds. This federal economic stimulus funding will be used for redevelopment of housing on vacant sites in the City of Orange (Orange County) for rent to the public. The targeted area encompasses an area generally bound by Sabine River to the South and East, Interstate 10 to the North, and State Highway 63 to the West, which are the census tract boundaries for census tract numbers 48361020200 and 48361020300.
